Day 3: then and now

I was delighted to see the sun today, for the first time in what feels like weeks. With better natural lighting, I was able to take some color photos of my favorite muse, Dorsey Dog.

Today’s Joy of Love theme was Then and Now. I had a great time going through puppy pictures of Dorsey, and quickly narrowed it down to this shot of him with his head on his Froggie toy. Dorsey not only enjoys snuggling with this toy (and its identical descendants), but also enjoys gnawing off its fingers & toes and using them like chewing gum. Froggie is also the star of Dorsey’s favorite game, “Where’s Froggie?” a version of hide & seek in which I hide Froggie and Dorsey searches the house for him. Kong better keep on making this toy, because Froggie is a major part of our lives.

Because I was trying to match up with his baby picture, there’s not a tremendous amount of variety in today’s outtakes. But I did like the expressions on these two:
