Day 23: Facebook

Today’s theme was to find a favorite Facebook photo of your loved one (taken by you or someone else) and print it out. Since I’ve managed to be the photographer of all my Joy of Love photos thus far, even the ones with me in them, I wanted to choose a photo I’d taken myself. I also decided to narrow down the choices further by restricting myself to photos taken and edited on my mobile phone, those are the photos truly taken with the intent to post them on Facebook (or Twitter).

With that in mind, I quickly narrowed it down to a few favorites. But this photo of Dorsey and his friend (my fake nephew) Aidan won hands down. During our walks, I attach two leashes to Dorsey’s collar and let Aidan hold one while I use the other one to make sure Dorsey doesn’t overpower him. I’m sure Cesar Millan would approve of me teaching Aidan to be a strong pack leader.

I also liked this one, in which I discovered Dorsey lying on the bed with his hand over the remote as if he’d just fallen asleep while watching TV.  This one got quite a few Facebook comments.

And, finally, my absolute favorite Facebook photo of Dorsey would have to be this photo snapped by my friend Holly during a recent snow day when Dorsey got too cold and had to be snuggled up under my vest. I featured it as an outtake on Day 4: What They Wear, but I love it so much I’m going to post it again.
